Here are the top 5 posts from DTC Twitter last week that you need to know about.

Post 1: Claude Code Is a Video Game for Adults

Why it matters: Cody nailed the dopamine loop that's got founders hooked. And the operators who level up fastest are going to have a serious edge.

Best replies:
"From the inside it doesn't feel like levels—it feels like the game never saves" — @FarzadClaw

Post 2: The New Wave: Learn Claude

Why it matters: This is true. Mastering how to use AI is the is the biggest skill set that will define the next decade of work. You probably need to take a cost saving approach today, but long term there will be clear paths to making money with AI.

Best replies:
"You probably have 6 months to build real depth, not 5 years" — @comforteagle

Post 3 WTF are we doing about Tariffs?

Why it matters: Mike’s sharing how tariffs are actually impacting his biz

Best replies:

  • Mike's own follow-up: "Today is a win for democracy... There are a variety of lawful ways tariffs can be reinstituted"

Post 4: AI-Powered CRO Is Here

Why it matters: Cody's building what every brand wants: pixel-perfect landing pages generated by AI, tested at scale, with one mid-level person running the show. If this works, the CRO agency model is about to get disrupted hard.

Post 5: Prophit Engineers are the new role you need to overpay for.

Why it matters: The future of all roles will be consolidated down to a couple of key people who are AI powered Swiss army knives. They’ll be able to do a little bit of everything and the specialists are going away.

My 2 Cents: I agree with this point but it’s overblown. Fewer people will get more done with AI since one incredibly hard working person will pick up new skills faster. But this misses that not everyone will want to do the work of 5 people. Or they’ll want to get paid significantly more for it.
